Catering at The Terrace
The Terrace are thrilled to be working in conjunction with ‘The Gourmet Kitchen’ a local catering company owned by Chef, Michael Price.
Michael, a self taught gourmet chef, has worked at several top dining establishments around the world, including The Oak Room, famously owned by multi-Michelin starred, Marco Pierre White.
He now provides all the catering for training sessions, conferences, meetings and private functions at The Terrace and is able to offer a unique selection of hot and cold buffet meals.
Below are several examples of his menus, but he is very flexible and always willing to try new things. So if you have a particular ‘theme’ in mind for an event, please call 01709 866466 and we will arrange for you to meet Michael to discuss your requirements.
Michael has exclusive use of The Terrace’s fully refurbished kitchen, kindly funded by Yorkshire Forward,. Michael will also be holding some catering courses throughout the coming year as part of the new Training and Enterprise Centre, also situated at The Terrace.
‘The Kitchen’ also offers an exclusive Dinner Party service. Michael and his team will cook and serve delicious meals for you and your chosen guests in the comfort of your own home and will also do the washing up! Menu Selection
The following are just examples of the hot and cold buffets available at The Terrace. Chef is happy to adapt menus or to discuss specific requests, including special dietary requirements.
Breakfast Menu £7.95 per head
Our breakfasts are made with the finest ingredients available, which we believe makes all the difference to the finished product.

In addition, a specialised menu is available to suit your requirements with dishes including Kedgeree, Eggs Benedict (with freshly made Hollandaise Sauce), Grilled Kippers or Smoked Haddock.

Hot Buffet £8.50 per head
Our most popular hot buffets are Chinese or Italian.
The chinese buffet comprises of Chicken Stir Fry with a rich 5 Spice Sauce and a vegetarian dish, Dressed egg Noodles and Steamed Rice, with a selection of desserts.
The Italian menu is Penne Al Forno with Pork and Fennel Meatballs. A selection of Salads and Homemade Desserts. As always everything is made from scratch without additives, colourings or preservatives.
Gourmet Deli Buffet £9.50 per head
Finest quality deli menu, using organic butter, freshly made mayonnaise; our pesto is made with single estate olive oil and organic reggiano parmesan.
Sandwiches are served on a selection of appropriate breads
