Award in Food Safety
This new one day course has been designed as a replacement for the Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene, to address the food safety needs of the catering, hospitality and manufacturing sectors.
The programme will cover:
- Legislation;
- Food safety hazards;
- Temperature control;
- Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding;
- Cooking, hot holding and reheating;
- Food Handling;
- Principles of safe food storage;
- Cleaning;
- Food premises and equipment.
