South Yorkshire Investment Plan

CDDT has recently secured two contracts from Doncaster CVS to provide a range of infrastructure support services to the voluntary and community sector in West and South Doncaster. This funding has been made available through the South Yorkshire Investment Plan (SYIP) until March 2009. The services which we will be providing are:

Financial Planning / Community Accountancy Services (West Doncaster)

A financial health check process, including: integrating financial planning with organisational planning, developing financial strategies with community & voluntary sector groups and helping groups to establish, implement and develop financial policies, procedures and systems. We will also provide help and advice with budgets and cash flow, full cost recovery principles and basic book-keeping.

Business Planning / Business Support (West and South Doncaster)

Advice, support and development of business plans with voluntary / community sector groups including aims and objectives, the market – need and demand, organisational outcomes, monitoring and evaluation, options and risk appraisal, forward strategy. We will also support for groups in planning for the future and developing strategies around fundraising and sustainability.

• Outreach sessions
• Dedicated telephone helpline
• Remote support by email
• Mentoring
• Network meetings
• Visits
